I also try to keep contact with mutual friends implying that I tend to make friendship with unknown friends of my known friends. In this way, I get to know about more friends of my close friends. I also use social media tools to ensure that I ca get updates about new jobs, especially through LinkedIn. I can get employee referrals from Facebook and LinkedIn personally. There can be employers who can connect with me from LinkedIn by finding out profile and checking my latest uploaded resume.
